Managing the nation’s healthcare system isn’t easy. Employing some 1.3 million people, managing annual budgets of £110 billion and looking after 60 million people across the UK, career opportunities don’t come much bigger than ours. Join our Graduate Management Training Scheme in Informatics and you’ll soon see that it takes nothing less than total dedication to handle the complexity and scope of our organisation. Informatics is one of the fastest growing areas in the health sector. Right now we’re leading the way with exciting projects and a creative use of IT that’s improving patient care. But there’s more to us than IT alone, as you’ll see when you join our leading graduate scheme.
Whatever your background (it won’t necessarily be in IT) we’ll challenge you from the start; demanding not just some technical proficiency, but an analytical, flexible and innovative approach to deal with the complexity of our agenda. It will be tough going, and you’ll need to prove yourself from the start. But show you’ve got the commitment and vision we’re looking for and you’ll find few opportunities as rewarding as ours. What’s more, we’ll give you the training, development and practical experience you need to help you become a leader in your field – making a huge difference to your own career, and the lives of millions of people across the UK. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. However, competition to join us is fierce, so think carefully before applying. Make sure that you hold, or are expecting to gain, at least a 2:2 (or equivalent) and have the mettle to rise to some of the most complex challenges around. Lead the way. Lead Informatics Management.
